AI chatbot for restaurants and cafes
Most questions a restaurant gets online are the same few: are you open, do you have vegan options, can I bring a group, where do I park. A website AI chatbot answers these instantly, so your staff stop answering the phone during service.
Questions to load into the chatbot
- Opening hours, including holidays
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy information
- Group bookings, private dining and events
- Parking, accessibility and how to find you
- Delivery and takeaway options
Be careful with allergy answers: give the chatbot your exact allergy policy and tell guests with severe allergies to speak to staff. The chatbot is instructed not to invent details it hasn't been given.
Send guests to table booking
If you take reservations through a booking page such as Calendly or Cal.com, add the link in settings and the chatbot offers a "Book a time" button inside the chat (paid plans). If you use a restaurant booking system, put its link in your FAQs and the chatbot will share it.
Catch catering and event enquiries
Larger orders are worth a call back. When a visitor asks about catering or a private event, the chatbot collects their name, contact details, date and group size and emails them to you, so these bigger orders don't get lost in DMs.
Guests from abroad
The chat window appears in the visitor's browser language (English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German or Hindi), and the AI replies in the language the guest writes in. That helps in tourist areas.
Cost
Many restaurants fit within the free plan's 100 AI replies a month to start. Starter ($39 or ₹3,499 a month) adds 1,000 replies, removes the "Powered by" badge and adds in-chat booking.
