AI chatbot for accountants and CA firms
Before tax and filing deadlines, accounting firms are flooded with the same questions: do you file returns for salaried people, what do you charge for GST registration, which documents do I need. A website AI chatbot answers questions about your services at any hour and collects enquiries, so your team can focus on the work.
What the chatbot should cover
- The services you offer (income tax returns, GST, company registration, bookkeeping, audit)
- Fee ranges and how fees are worked out
- Documents a client needs for each service
- Deadlines you work to and how long work takes
- Office hours and how to reach you
Don't let it give tax advice
The chatbot answers questions about your firm, not about a client's tax position. In its instructions, say it must not give tax advice and should offer a consultation instead. The AI is told not to invent details it hasn't been given, but test it with tricky questions before you go live.
Collect enquiries and book consultations
When someone needs help, the chatbot asks for their name, phone or email and what they need, and emails it to you at once. Add a booking link (Calendly, Google Calendar or Cal.com) and clients can book a consultation inside the chat on paid plans.
Confidentiality
Ask visitors in your greeting not to share PAN, Aadhaar or financial details in the chat; collect those securely once they become a client. Conversations are kept for 90 days and can be deleted from your dashboard.
